Yes, go ahead and snicker! My husband says all men will know what to use this herb for. It is in all the men's bathroom machines. (Of course, you don't know if it is a real product from there or not.)
**Horny Goat Weed is an herb (Epimedium) that herb that has been a traditional remedy in China for centuries. ** The active ingredient, Icariin is known as a prenylated flavonoid compound. It yields a positive influence as an aphrodisiac in men. Two other compounds in Horny Goat Weed (Icaritin, Desmethylicaritin) show a positive influence on estrogen in post-menopausal females. The herb acts as an aphrodisiac in both genders, and the gender-specific hormone increasing could be beneficial for both genders.
Our Horny Goat Weed is the pure powdered herb. It comes 3 ounces in a bottle with a child-proof cap. This is NOT a standardized extract. We feel whole herb products are superior to standardized extracts (which of course are chemicalized creations).
How To Use: Use one-quarter to one-half teaspoon in water; 1 or 2 times daily. You can also capsulate this blend.
